Fossil Saw Shark Teeth
Updated 12/8/2004
True saw shark teeth are considered highly rare as
compared to saw fish teeth of which the latter doesn't have enamel (after the KT
event). All specimen below are Pliocene Aged, Chile. Highly
unusual. Most have hollow roots and they make attractive and robust
pendants by gluing a stud into the hollow root.
